Casablanca → Rabat → Fes
The tour begins with a morning pick-up from Mohammed V International Airport, your hotel, or anywhere you are based in Casablanca. The first stop is the Hassan II Mosque — the largest mosque in Morocco and the seventh largest in the world, with an exterior that is nothing short of spectacular. From there the road heads north to Rabat, where the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V are worth exploring. Lunch is in Rabat before the drive continues to Fes. The evening is yours — dinner in the Medina of Fes and overnight in a beautiful riad.
Fes → Ifrane → Middle Atlas → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
After breakfast at the riad, Fes is left behind and the long drive south to Merzouga begins. The first stop is Ifrane — a charming town in the Middle Atlas Mountains often compared to Switzerland. From there the route crosses the cedar forests where Barbary macaques roam freely in the wild — a rare and memorable stop. Lunch is at a restaurant along the way. The drive continues via the Tizi N Telghemt pass and along the Ziz Valley toward the desert. Arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon, camels and a guide are waiting at the edge of the dunes. The ride takes you across the Erg Chebbi toward your desert camp — pausing on a high dune for the full sunset. A cup of tea greets you at the camp before dinner. The evening ends around a campfire with Berber music and a sky blazing with stars.
Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Canyon → Dades Gorges
An early wake-up is highly recommended today to catch the golden fingers of desert sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, the return to Merzouga is by camel or 4x4 — your choice. If the day falls on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, a traditional Moroccan souk in Rissani is running — a worthwhile cultural stop. The drive then continues to Tinghir, with a panoramic stop over palm trees and Berber villages along the Todra River. A walk beneath the 300-metre cliffs of the Todra Canyon follows — one of the most dramatic landscapes in Morocco. The day ends at Dades Gorges, where a panoramic viewpoint of the famous monkey fingers rock formations and a winding valley road awaits before settling in for the night.

After breakfast, the journey to Marrakech begins via Kelaat M'Gouna — a town famous for its rose-filled valley in spring. In Ouarzazate, an optional stop at Atlas Studios — the world's largest film set — is possible. From there the road leads to Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah — a striking example of Moroccan southern architecture that served as a backdrop for Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Prince of Persia, and became the city of Yunkai in Game of Thrones. After exploring the kasbah, the final stretch to Marrakech crosses the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2260 metres above sea level — with scenic stops along the way. The tour ends with a drop-off at your riad in Marrakech.

Are 4 days enough to see Morocco?
Four days is not enough to see all of Morocco — but it is enough to experience the best of it. This tour covers Casablanca, Rabat, Fes, the Middle Atlas, the Sahara desert, the gorges, and Marrakech. A solid introduction to the country with no filler.
What vehicles are used?
Toyota Prado Land Cruiser for smaller groups. Ford 8-seater van or Mercedes Sprinter minibus for larger groups. All private and air-conditioned.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as possible — particularly during peak season from March to May and September to November.
How does payment work?
A small deposit confirms the booking via PayPal or bank transfer. The remaining balance is paid in cash on the first day — in euros, US dollars, or Moroccan dirhams.
