Tangier → Chefchaouen
Your tour begins with a warm welcome at Tangier airport, port, or your hotel, where your guide will meet you and get your journey underway. You head south into the Rif Mountains on a scenic two-hour drive to Chefchaouen, Morocco's celebrated blue city. On arrival, check into your riad and then take the rest of the day to explore freely — stroll the blue-painted alleyways of the medina, browse the artisan souks, and settle into a rooftop café for your first taste of Moroccan mint tea and cuisine.

After breakfast, the road takes you through the rolling Rif countryside to Volubilis, Morocco's finest Roman archaeological site, where remarkably preserved mosaics and grand public buildings tell the story of a city that thrived in the 3rd century. You begin at the ornate golden gates of the Royal Palace before plunging into the labyrinthine streets of Fes el-Bali — past the ancient Al-Qarawiyyin University, the exquisite Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous Chouara Tanneries where leather has been processed in the same open-air vats for centuries. We use comfortable private vehicles suited to your group size, including the Toyota Prado Land Cruiser TX, Ford Tourneo Custom, Mercedes-Benz Vito, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus for groups of eight or more. All vehicles are air-conditioned and well-maintained.
How early should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly during peak travel seasons in spring and autumn. Early booking ensures your preferred accommodation options and travel dates are confirmed and secured.
How does payment work?
A small deposit is required at the time of booking, payable via PayPal, bank transfer, or Wise. The remaining balance is paid in cash directly to your driver-guide on the first day of the tour, in euros, US dollars, or Moroccan dirhams.
Can the itinerary be customised?
