Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Aït Ben Haddou → Dades Valley

In the morning our shared Marrakech to Fes desert tour starts. Over the Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate, leaving Marrakech behind, we will drive. To enjoy the beautiful spectacles of the Atlas Mountains and to see some traditional Berber villages, stops will be made along the way. Aït Ben Haddou village we will reach, where we will explore the most famous Kasbah in Morocco. A great example of Moroccan architecture, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was used for filming parts of many popular movies and TV series such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, and Game of Thrones. After exploring the Kasbah with our guide, to Ouarzazate we drive. As the gateway to the Sahara Desert and the Hollywood of Africa, the city is known. At Atlas Studio, a stop will be made for some pictures from outside — the world's largest film studio it is. Through the Valley of Roses before getting to your hotel, our first destination it is. If time permits, to see the unique rock formations known as monkey toes and the famous view of the zig-zag road in the Dades Gorges before getting to your hotel we will drive. If not, both places the day after in the morning we can visit.

★★★★★

"From the very first moment everything promised and more this shared desert tour from Marrakech to Fes delivered. Personal and unhurried every stop felt thanks to the small group of 10 — nothing like a typical group tour. Extraordinary was the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah and speechless the Todra Canyon left everyone. The undeniable highlight was the camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset — followed by a night at the luxury desert camp far more comfortable than expected. Warm, funny, and knowledgeable throughout was the guide. A genuinely memorable trip."

★★★★★

"Fantastic value for what was delivered on this 3-day shared Marrakech to Fes desert tour. More ground than expected the route covered — the High Atlas, the Dades Valley, Todra Canyon, the Erg Chebbi dunes, and the Middle Atlas on the return. Real time was given at each stop and relaxed rather than rushed everything felt thanks to the group size. A genuine highlight was the luxury camp in Merzouga — private tent, proper bathroom, and a campfire under the stars. To any traveller heading through Morocco on a budget who still wants quality this tour is recommended. "
