Casablanca → Chefchaouen
The 5-day adventure begins with a pick-up from Mohammed V International Airport or your hotel in Casablanca. The journey heads north to Chefchaouen — a beautiful mountain town nestled in the Rif Mountains, famous across the world for its blue-painted streets and relaxed atmosphere. On arrival, you check into your riad and the rest of the day is yours — a stroll through the narrow blue alleys, a browse of the local markets, or a sit at one of the charming cafes with traditional Moroccan food. A peaceful night in one of Morocco's most photogenic towns.
Chefchaouen → Fes
After a good breakfast at your riad, the drive to Fes begins. On arrival, a knowledgeable local guide joins the group to lead an exploration of the Fes Medina — one of the largest and best-preserved medieval cities in the world. Ancient streets, centuries-old architecture, the famous tanneries, and vibrant souks are all part of the walk. Lunch in the Medina is a chance to sample the authentic flavours of Fassi cuisine. The evening is yours to explore at your own pace before settling into your riad in the heart of the old city.
Fes → Ifrane → Middle Atlas → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
After breakfast at the riad, the long drive south to Merzouga begins. The first stop is Ifrane — a picturesque town in the Middle Atlas Mountains known for its cooler climate. The route then crosses a cedar forest where Barbary macaques roam freely — a rare and memorable roadside encounter. Lunch is at a restaurant along the way. The Ziz Valley — a lush corridor of palm trees stretching toward the desert — opens up as Merzouga approaches. Arriving in the late afternoon, camels and a guide are waiting at the edge of the dunes. The ride into Erg Chebbi pauses on a high dune to watch the full sunset before continuing to the luxury desert camp. Dinner is followed by a campfire evening — Berber drumming, music, and a sky full of stars. Guests can even try playing the drums themselves.
Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorge → Dades Gorge
An early wake-up is highly recommended today to catch the Saharan sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, the return to Merzouga is by camel or 4x4 — your choice. The drive heads toward Dades Gorge via Rissani, where a traditional Moroccan souk is running if the day falls on a Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday — spices, crafts, and local street food worth exploring. The Todra River is followed to Tinghir, where a walk beneath the towering 300-metre walls of the Todra Canyon is one of the most dramatic moments of the entire tour. The day ends at Dades Gorge — a panoramic drive through the valley with views of the famous monkey fingers rock formations before checking into your hotel.

After breakfast the final day begins — the drive heads toward Ouarzazate, often called the Gateway to the Desert and the Hollywood of Africa. An optional visit to Atlas Studios — the largest film studio in Morocco — offers a look behind the scenes of some of cinema's most iconic productions. From Ouarzazate the road leads to the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. After exploring the kasbah and a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant, the route crosses the High Atlas Mountains with stops for breathtaking panoramic views along the way. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon — the tour ends with a drop-off at your accommodation.

Are 5 days enough for Morocco?
Five days gives you a solid and rewarding experience of Morocco's highlights. You cover Chefchaouen, Fes, the Sahara desert, the gorges, and Marrakech. It depends on your goals — those with more time will benefit from a longer itinerary, but five days done well leaves nothing important out.
What vehicles are used?
Toyota Prado Land Cruiser TX for smaller groups. Ford Tourneo Custom or Mercedes Sprinter minibus for groups of 8 or more. All private and air-conditioned.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible — particularly during peak season from March to May and September to November.
How does payment work?
A small deposit confirms the booking via PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer. The remaining balance is paid in cash to the driver-guide on the first day — in euros, US dollars, or Moroccan dirhams.
Can I skip the camel ride?
Yes — a 4x4 transfer to the desert camp is available at no extra cost.
