Arrival in Marrakech

Marrakech, Happy Valley, Rose Valley and Dades
Cross the High Atlas and explore the mountain scenery, villages and landscapes associated with the Happy Valley. Continue toward the Rose Valley and Dades region. This is a demanding day if all three areas are included, so the exact road route and available sightseeing time must be confirmed.
Dades, Saghro Mountains and Merzouga
Head toward the rugged Saghro region, with its dramatic rock formations, mountain tracks and remote landscapes. Continue toward Merzouga and the Sahara. The exact piste crossing should be selected according to track conditions and the group's experience.
Erg Chebbi and Sahara Exploration
This is a flexible exploration day, not a long transfer. Any technical dune-driving activity should be separately planned for suitable terrain.
Merzouga to M’Hamid
Travel southwest across the landscapes of southern Morocco toward the Draa Valley and M’Hamid, the gateway to the remote Erg Chigaga dunes. Stop for refreshments and sightseeing along the way
M’Hamid Erg Chigaga to Foum Zguid
Cross stony desert and sandy terrain toward Erg Chigaga, Cross the remote desert toward Lake Iriki, following suitable tracks across the open desert and rocky terrain. Reach Foum Zguid
Foum Zguid to Aït Benhaddou
Explore the historic earthen village, walk through its narrow lanes and enjoy views across the surrounding landscape. Stay overnight nearby so guests have time to experience the site without rushing.
Aït Benhaddou to Marrakech
crossing the High Atlas and returning to Marrakech. Finish with a hotel mint tea and preparing for the last night in Marrakech.
